This week, we had an ice storm. As I walked through the yard snapping pics, I realized that what I was photographing could be a metaphor for our illness.
Our bodies are frozen, stiff and fragile. Yet we remain resilient and unbroken; full of life under incredible weight. Despite this, we are unique and truly beautiful. Our presence, however challenging, still makes this world a more beautiful place.
There can always be beauty and hope found, despite our weaker moments.
