May is, coincidentally, awareness month for Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and mental health. Or maybe it isn’t coincidental at all. Anyone who lives with chronic illness & pain, Fibro or CFS is very likely all too familiar with how disease affects one’s mental health. It produces a myriad of thoughts and emotions that are equally as difficult to manage as the underlying disease itself.
So, in honor of awareness month and all of my fellow chronic illness warriors, I have created a little “friend” who depicts some of the emotions I battle on a daily basis. Because Fibro and CFS are SO much more than pain and fatigue.
DEFINITELY so much more. I LOVE this, and that little man sums it up brilliantly! Sharing 🙂

He looks like a Bob.
Fibro Frank? Marvin is also quite cool.
Can you tell I’m bad with names? 😉

Thank you……it’s so much more and people who love us don’t understand. Not to mention who we socialize with or did. 🙂

How could anyone understand? It’s SO life altering and complex, that it’s hard to comprehend.

It’s hard for me sometimes! Have a great day. Take a look at how to make make-up remover facial pads. 🙂
