About Me

Stacey Chapman is a Wife to a loving, devoted Husband, who tries his best to understand life with Chronic Illness and support her unfailingly. She is also a Mother to three adult kids, a Schnauzer, an Australian Shepard and a Persian. Stacey was originally diagnosed with Lupus in 2012, then subsequently diagnosed with and treated for Rheumatoid Arthritis. After years of Doctors, Specialists, Physical Therapy, medication, tests and treatment, Stacey was finally diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. She also suffers from Migraines, Chronic Headaches, Dysautonomia, Restless Limbs Syndrome (not as innocuous as it sounds) and Raynaud’s Syndrome. In 2016, after serious consideration and a period of mourning, Stacey (herself) applied, fought for and was ultimately awarded Disability; a bittersweet and emotional win for the once highly motivated Professional.

FightingwithFibo is a Blog intended to discuss the myriad of ways that Fibro, Chronic Fatigue, Chronic Pain, Migraines and Chronic Illness has permanently affected her life, the lives of those she loves and anyone else living with Chronic Illness.

Stacey still tries to live her life with intention and hope, grateful for each “normal” moment, hour or day. It is her hope that with her humor and insight, she can positively affect the lives of others who contend with the same.

Much Love and Hope Always.
